For our 5 minutes, dive into recruitment campaigns and the role that communications and marketing can play. We share some interesting ones that we have seen.

Birmingham City F.C WTF? and Marketing to Over 60s
Tuesday Aug 24, 2021
Tuesday Aug 24, 2021
In this episode we start by talking about the unpaid one-year media and marketing placement advert that was put out by Birmingham City Football Club and why it’s a problem.
For our 5 minutes, we explore marketing to over 60’s. What campaigns we have seen, the segmentation of the audience and what needs to change.
Research by Lloyds Banking has shown that although people over 65 make up 17.7% of the population they only feature in 6.2% of advertising, however when they do feature in advertising and marketing the narrative follows the line of stereotypes.
